With over 50,000 plant displays showcased in beautiful outdoor exhibits, the Desert Botanical Garden in Papago Park is a very popular attraction in Tempe that seeks to preserve the natural desert habitat.
For sports fans, Tempe and surrounding areas is the home to the Arizona Cardinals football team; the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team; the Phoenix Suns basketball team; and the Coyotes hockey team.

Public Transportation
Tempe has the METRO light rail that runs through the heart of Tempe. This 20 mile light rail creates a seamless connection between Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.
TIM (Tempe In Motion) provides public transportation throughout the city seven days a week. The Orbit shuttle offers free bus services to downtown Tempe and the surrounding area.
