Mathias Hautefort appointed as President of Pace France

Today Pace plc, the leading developer of digital TV technologies, has announced the appointment of Mathias Hautefort as the new President of Pace France.
Pace France was created following Pace’s acquisition of the set-top box division of Royal Philips Electronics and Mathias will be based in the company’s French headquarters at Suresnes, Paris. He will be part of the Pace Group management team and will lead relationships with payTV operators throughout Europe as Pace continues its growth as one of the world’s largest set-top box companies.
Mathias joins Pace from Atari, the gaming company, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Worldwide Distribution and Operations. Earlier in his career Mathias was CEO of Viaccess, a conditional access division of France Telecom and has also been Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Noos, a major French cable operator, which is now part of the Numericable Group.
Mathias will report to Chief Executive Officer Neil Gaydon and begin his new role in early November.
