Pace DC900X Jayhawk

Pace’s DC900X “Jayhawk” is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device with integrated MoCA 1.1 interface.

It provides server capabilities to permit Home Content Sharing™ (HCS) with other Pace products such as DC700X “Apache” and RNG150N “Denali” through means of an external MoCA dongle (Apache), and integrated MoCA interface (Denali).

The DC900X contains no video tuner or A/V output capability itself, relying on other Pace products within the home to receive, demodulate and decrypt video services.

It provides the secure hard-disk storage capability to otherwise disk-less clients, permitting cost-effective DVR services to be provided without having disks embedded within each device within the home. As a corollary, the DC900X permits enhanced DVR user experience, such as PlaceShiftTV within the home.
