Product Process & Quality Supervisor

Purpose of the Job:

Professional position reporting to the Director of Service with responsibility for  providing Process and Quality representation in the Seattle C-Lab. Work involves defining and/or executing Rework, Quality Assurance Programs, and Product Seeding. In addition, the position must train, mentor, and lead Team Leaders and temporary staff.

Principle Accountabilities:

As an example of some of the major responsibilities of the position:

  • Define and/or execute product rework .
  • Proactively lead, mentor, and train Line Leaders and temporary staff.
  • Undertake impartial, timely and systematic auditing of product received from Manufacturing.
  • Report on product non-compliance, potential and actual.
  • Manage the operational aspects of the C-Lab.
  • Define and/or execute all Processes required to meet product and customer specifications post manufacturing.
  • Manage Product seeding requirements to demand.
  • Performs other work, as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

 

Should ideally possess a 2 year Associates Degree in a Quality or Engineering field.

Minimum 2 years experience in electronics environment is required.

Experience in the US Consumer Electronics industry is preferred.

  • Must demonstrate commitment and the ability to manage own workload at all times without the need of supervision.
  • Must be numerate, and possess the ability to effectively articulate facts and figures.
  • Must possess the ability to communicate and interact well with management, employees, and temporary staff.
  • Must possess good interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in all MS Office applications.

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Copy of any required certificate or degree may be required prior to employment

Competencies & Special Aptitudes:

Minimum Physical/Visual/Hearing Capabilities

Ability to perform light lifting in the handling of work materials and equipment. 

Requires visual skills necessary for reviewing a considerable amount of written materials for the accurate maintenance of information and records.

Requires some domestic travel, which may require the ability to rent and drive various types of vehicles.
