Neil Gaydon, CEO Pace plc, was presented with a regional award at Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009.
Speaking about Pace’s success, the judges said: “Neil has created true competitive advantage through his customer facing, multifunctional teams who have significantly improved customer focus.” Commenting about this achievement, Neil points out: “I merely accepted this award on behalf of Pace and everyone in our company whose hard work made this happen”.
Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2009

Pace plc is proud to announce it has won a 2009 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, in recognition of its pioneering work developing high definition set top box technology. This is Pace’s second successive Queen’s Award, having won an International Trade Award in 2008.

CANAL+, the leading pay-TV operator in France, and Pace, the leading independent developer of digital TV technologies for the global payTV industry, have jointly won an IPTV World Series award for the ‘Best Hybrid Broadcast-IP Video Delivery Solution or Service’.
The award was presented for +LE CUBE, Europe’s first Satellite / IP hybrid set-top box to use the Ethernet port for VOD services, at this year’s IPTV World Forum Awards Dinner on Wednesday 25th March at The Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.

Neil Gaydon, CEO Pace plc, has been awarded the title of “Personality of the Year” for 2008 at the techMARK Awards Dinner 2008, which was held last Thursday at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The techMARK awards ceremony, which is sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, recognises achievement and rewards success in the UK technology industry.

Pace plc is delighted to announce that the Yorkshire Post has named the company Best Exporter in 2008. The results were unveiled at the eagerly anticipated and prestigious awards ceremony in Leeds on October 17.
The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards recognises success stories of businesses across the Yorkshire region. This year there were 210 entries, doubling the number received last year.

Pace wins the Award for the second time for increasing its exports by 251% over three years to £335m, which in the final year represented 81% of total sales.
