Pace reaffirms Viaccess partnership
Introduces new range of Viaccess enabled retail products

Pace plc, leading developer of digital TV technologies, has announced a new range of leading-edge products with Viaccess, a France Telecom company and leader in conditional access. This new collaboration will enable Pace to take advantage of Viaccess’ enhanced conditional access (CA) security solutions in advanced DTT, DTH and IPTV digital TV entertainment solutions for consumers across Europe. Pace’s new agreement with Viaccess builds on a long-term relationship that spans more than nine years.
Pace will unveil a new range of set-top boxes for the French retail market at IBC 2009 that incorporate Viaccess’ ACS3.0 CA technology. These include the DSR5020 high-definition set-top box and DSR2020 standard definition box.

The new boxes will be showcased on the Pace stand in hall 1. B19 at IBC in Amsterdam between the 11th and 15th September 2009. Pace’s Retail team will also be demonstrating additional IPTV and FTTH products that incorporate Viaccess CA with a live terrestrial broadcast stream.
