Pace Micro Technology has re-launched its on-line service resource, part of the company's dedicated Dealers of Distinction (d3) website.
The site specifically designed for UK retailers provides vital information at the touch of a button. The service section of the password protected site includes a new search facility to aid rapid resolution of faults, plus information on Pace service policies, returns procedures, service contacts and 'Service Matters' - Pace's technical newsletter.
Pace's service policies include 'Fast, Free and Flexible Support' and in-warranty repairs service. Faults can be reported on-line or via a freephone number (0800 834971). Details of Pace's 'free exchange' policy are also included.
Since August 2001, any faulty Sky digibox in warranty will be replaced by dialing the freephone number above.1 For general technical queries dealers can also phone the technical helpline on 0870 8378442. 'Service Matters' covers a wide-range of key service and technical issues and back issues are now available on-line. In addition, dealers can order spares, view technical bulletins on the Pace product range or make technical queries.
Pace is dedicated to providing the best service possible to its dealers. Pace's Dealers of Distinction programme (d3) supports UK independent UK retailers in understanding and selling digital television technology. D3 members have the opportunity to enter competitions on the website with chances to win various prizes including Dealer of the Year, with a prize of £2000.
Dealer of the month for January was won by Mark Coster of Lakes TV and Radio in Slough, Berkshire. Eric Bird from S Bird TV in Bristol won an all expenses paid trip to Paris by filling in his details on a recent mailer. Fiona Leslie Pace's D3 programme manager commented:
