IBC 2005, Amsterdam, Stand 1.221, 9 September 2005: Pace Micro Technology plc (LSE:PIC), the leading dedicated innovator of technology solutions for the payTV industry, has today announced the appointment of Sandy Barblett as Regional Director for the EMEA region.
Sandy will be responsible for developing new business in this region and to ensure Pace remains at the forefront of set-top box development for both existing and new customers across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Sandy commented: “I am delighted to be leading the team in EMEA as we develop and roll-out new technologies for our customers in high definition, personal video recorders, multiroom and handheld.

Sandy has been with Pace since 1996 and was most recently Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region, where he successfully established Pace as a key player in this emerging market.
Prior to this, Sandy was Vice President Sales, Pace Americas, where he headed up teams responsible for Pace’s business with Time Warner Cable and BrightHouse Networks and also led new business development initiatives.
