Responsible business means recognising the importance of our employees to our success and future development and providing an environment that will attract, motivate and reward them.
We invest in a range of internal and external initiatives to promote employee development.
Employees are kept informed through regular employee briefings and company newsletters. In the UK, meetings of the Employee Partnership, an elected forum for discussion of work related issues, are held with members of the Executive Committee at least four times per year.
We welcome applications for employment from all sectors of the community and promote equality of opportunity in employment regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, disability or ethnic origin. Training, career development and promotion opportunities are available to all employees.
In the event that an employee becomes disabled, we make reasonable adjustments where any aspect of premises or working practices puts such a disabled employee at a substantial disadvantage compared with a nondisabled employee.
